The JAECOO J5 EV – SHS range offers two distinct electrified approaches. The J5 EV is fully electric, using a single front-mounted motor and fast-charging support for drivers who want zero-emissions daily mobility. The J5 SHS combines a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine with an electric motor and battery for intelligent hybrid power delivery.
The J5 EV supports 11 kW AC charging and up to 130 kW DC fast charging, allowing a 30% to 80% recharge in approximately 28 minutes. The J5 SHS focuses on extended range and efficiency, with claimed fuel efficiency of 3.7 L/100 km and a combined range of more than 1,000 km.

The J5 EV is built for adventure without tailpipe emissions, while the J5 SHS is designed for long-range hybrid confidence.
